Granjon displayed

20/05/2011

These illustrations are taken from an undated type specimen catalogue out out by Linotype, London. From the look of the catalogue, and one or two clues,  I’d guess it was published in the late 1920s/ early 1930s. The face was named Granjon after Robert Granjon, a French type designer active in the 1500s, although it owes everything to Garamond.
